Why we’re different from other Public Relations agencIES IN los Angeles
There are many public relations agencies in Los Angeles and beyond, and all will agree that earned media (i.e. getting news outlets to report on your client) is incredibly valuable. Here at Loaded Media, we certainly agree. But here’s the big difference:
Loaded Media is the only PR agency in Los Angeles (or anywhere) that guarantees feature article press placements every month.
These article placements are a core component of our strategy. In fact, all service packages at our public relations agency in Los Angeles include at least two articles per month. No other company does this – not even the so-called “best” PR firms in Los Angeles – so by choosing Loaded Media, you’re giving yourself an instant leg-up on your competition.
Publishing articles in major magazines
Of course, as publicists, we’re naturally inclined to tell you all about how we’re the best public relations agency in Los Angeles, but sometimes it’s better to let our results speak for us instead. Check out our press page to see our clients featured in big-name magazines like Holr, Paradox, Beverly Hills Magazine, Film Daily, Flux, The Hollywood News, Film Threat, and more.
To be clear: these are full feature articles and interview pieces, not just mentions. While having your name dropped in the press is certainly valuable, it simply can’t compare to an article where you are the subject and focus of attention. A mention tells the reader your name. A feature tells them who you are, what you stand for, and why they should hire you or use your business.
We are a Partner with Time Magazine.

Why articles matter
Published feature articles are invaluable for a number of reasons. First of all, while self-promotion is important, praise always means more coming from someone else. Moreover, the simple fact that someone chose to write a feature about you tells the world you’re important and they should take notice. On top of these obvious benefits, there’s also the fact that having articles written about you is absolutely necessary in order to obtain the Holy Grail of online presence: a Wikipedia page.
Wikipedia has a set of “notability guidelines” used to determine whether a topic is important enough to have its own article in the Free Encyclopedia. For individual people, the most difficult hurdle is getting at least two feature interviews published in outlets that Wikipedia considers “perennial sources” – highly reputable news organizations such as the New York Times and BBC News.
Making your own Wikipedia article is dangerous!
If you don’t already meet the notability deadlines (even if you’re right on the edge), trying to create your own Wiki article is actually a very dangerous move. The article is likely to get deleted at some point (if not immediately), and the deleted article will then be flagged. Once that’s happened, any future attempts to recreate the page will be greeted by swarms of zealous wiki editors looking for any reason to reject it. Even if you’ve done your homework and met the notability criteria in the meantime, you’ll now face an uphill battle to get approved – even though your current qualifications would probably be enough to get the page approved if this were your first attempt.
How Loaded Media, A PR AGENCY IN LOS ANGELES can help
But if you don’t have articles in perennial publications yet, don’t despair! Loaded Media can help you get there. We won’t sugar-coat it: Wikipedia is definitely a long-term goal for most new clients. It may take some time, but getting you there is our job, and if Wikipedia is your goal, we’ll construct a publicity plan geared toward getting you there. With two new feature articles coming out about you every month, you’ll quickly be well on your way.
If you’re considering signing up with the most dynamic public relations agency in Los Angeles, but aren’t sure whether you’re ready to take the plunge, head over to our contact page and book a 15-minute Zoom appointment – we’ll be happy to walk you through our process, discuss the pros and cons of public relations versus advertising, and answer any other questions you might have.
What They Say About Loaded Media
“Launching a brand new restaurant is no joke. When we first opened, customers raved about our food, but word-of-mouth still wasn’t drawing in new business quickly enough.
Then we hired Loaded Media to rebuild our website. The new site looks beautiful, but even better was the SEO optimization they did behind the scenes, which bumped us up in Google searches and increased overall traffic to the site by 500%. Our business is now thriving thanks to our gorgeous new website!”
